2023 Was One for the Books

2023 will always be a year that I will forever remember. It is a year where I truly decided to challenge myself to be a better man. I lost A LOT of bad habits while at the same time I gained A LOT of good ones. Some bad habits which I thought I never was going to break out of and good habits I never thought I would consistently maintain.

I was also able to develop an unwavering discipline. Discipline I always knew I had but I just needed to push myself to obtain. I can say for sure that it has become one of the biggest reasons why I was able to drop 150 pounds in a year. So many times, I didn’t want to go to the gym, or go walk in the morning or eat healthy. But I stuck it through and it came with amazing results.

Through the ups and downs, I truly loved the person I have become. I feel like I can conquer the world if I put my mind to it. Anytime I feel overwhelmed at work or in life, I always tell myself “The work has to get done, so there is no point in Bitching about it, go and get the work done”. Then I proceed to get the work DONE.

It is also great to see people be amazed by how different I look. I truly do feel like a new man and I plan to stay dedicated. It’s funny, I still kind of have the mindset that I haven’t really done anything. I don’t know but I believe that mindset keeps me humble so I never take my foot off the pedal.

For 2024 I plan to keep the same mindset for sure. I want to keep setting goals for myself so I can keep myself challenged. I was asked what are my 2024 goals and I simply said, I just want to keep working to remain healthy and get a better physique. So by December 31, 2024 I plan to look even better.
