Last week I decided to make a major adjustment to my diet and this week I saw it paid off with my results. I decided to quit eating junk food from my job’s vending machine. I would usually eat, white cheddar popcorn, Cheez-Its and Dipsy’s corn chips. Yes, sometimes I would eat them all together in one sitting. Don’t judge the poor decisions I made before, I am making adjustments now.
This week I saw the huge difference it made with me. Not only I wasn’t stuffing my face with junk food but also I wasn’t not shelving out money for overpriced food. I also felt a curb in my hunger during dinner as well. I pretty much ate one serving of food and did not pig out like when I reverted to last month. When looking at the scale and seeing I lost damn near 5 pounds, I realized there is no way I can revert back to my old eating habits now.
I lost that weight with pretty much no physically activity besides stretching in the morning and doing 10 push-ups and 10 sit-ups. It was a pretty busy week for me, as I always had something to take care of when I got home. This week I plan to change that, with sticking to my plan of working out when I get home no matter what. I feel like if I do this, I am bound for another significant lost next week.
