The Comeback: Old Mindset Gone

Recently I’ve been thinking about what I am going to do when I finally reach my desired weight goal. All I can think is how will I transition properly into bulking. How should I change up my diet and how should I change up my workouts. I’ve also been thinking about eating fatty foods again but oddly enough the more I think about it the more I am repulsed by the idea. All the work I put in, to just eat the way I ate before disgusts me.

I was watching a video recently of a man who lost 50 pounds. He’s still on the heavy side but he is continuing his weight loss journey and he said something really interesting to me. He said before he used to get excited about eating junk food. Now since he’s been eating healthy, the idea of eating junk food does not excite him anymore. His entire mindset has switched up. That is amazing because that is what happened with me. Even if I have a cheat meal like once every 2 weeks, I’m immediately motivated to stick to my diet and work off what I just ate.

So going off of that, I have had the feeling that I have not been posting enough content. So besides my Bi-weekly weigh-in blog posts, with the advice of my trainer I will now start to post my food diaries to this site as well. It will show everyone, not what I do exercise wise to lose weight but show the more important part, which is my nutrition. Hopefully seeing what I eat and how I workout, anyone will find it more helpful in their own weight loss journey as well.
