Last week I proclaimed that you all will be looking at the reawakening of Witness My Journey Into Fitness, I am proud to say throughout the week I did what I had to do to keep up with my proclamation. I have become disciplined with the plan I laid out for myself and the great results keep coming in. When looking at the scale and seeing my weight continue to go down is a great feeling. I am focused to keep on progressing and moving forward toward the right direction.
Throughout the week, I stuck with my diet pretty well besides a few hiccups here and there. Friday, my office celebrated St. Patrick’s Day and I can’t lie, I got a little too carried away with myself. I ate some bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches from Subway and had pizza and chicken wings for lunch. To combat the big meals I had for breakfast and lunch, I decided not to have dinner. I know people should not miss a meal, but I felt full after lunch and didn’t really have an appetite when it came around to dinner that day. The big challenge throughout the week came around dinner time, and that is where I believed I shined, cutting down on my servings of food. I also did not have any fast food besides for my dinner on Saturday.
I did not get any physical activity in at all last week so I was skeptical when I got scale and I was expecting to have gained weight. However, I was surprised to find out I lost close to 3 lbs. This is the first big loss I had in a few weeks. Even though I was shocked I knew in the back of my mind that this is the results you get when you stay focused and disciplined to completing a goal. This was the weight I reached a few weeks ago before I started gaining again. I feel that won’t happen this time because I am really determined to keep up with my plan and apply even more pressure this week by starting up a workout regime again.
