This week was probably my best week I had since I started this journey. I started off the week getting on my daily 50 push-ups and 50 sit-ups daily. This time though, I remembered I had the perfect push-up rotating handle. I decided to start using that and I saw the huge difference they made. I was not cracking out my push-ups so easily but I did feel the difference in the technique I was doing them. I feel like if I continue to use these that I will see better results soon. I also decided to pay better attention to the way I did my sit-ups also. I looked at the proper technique on some videos and decided to make sure I were doing those correctly as well. I was still able to do my 50 sit-ups and 50 push-ups daily just took me more time than usual.
Everything seemed fine until I got sick on Friday. I did not know how I got sick, but I got a sore throat. I knew I have reached a level of dedication with this when I tried going to the gym in my office on that same day. I couldn’t actually get a workout in but I was proud of myself that I was willing to push myself to exercise while I was sick. I know if I keep up this level of dedication the results will come in easily.
I am also happy to say I did not eat any junk food this week. Sadly, that is actually a first for me during this journey. I will make huge strides to keep this up moving forward especially since I saw what a huge difference it made for me on the scale. Finally, this has been the biggest lost I had since week 1. All I can do is stay consistent and never look back.
