Over the past few weeks, I often procrastinate when it comes to my posts. I usually wait until the Sunday before I post for Monday, to write how my previous week went. As you can see this has gone terribly wrong for me. I realized that procrastinating on writing my posts not only makes me rush them but it also creates an opportunity for me to skip out on writing them at all. I knew I needed a new system.
So I decided to start writing daily summaries. These will be 3 to 5 sentences about my day. This will not only allow me to stay on top of my posts but also allow me to keep my ideas fresh. It will allow myself to reflect on the day and allow me to analyze my progress in a more detailed and analytical manner. So without further ado, I present to you my new “Witness My Journey into Fitness” posts:

Every Sunday I like to get mentally prepared for the week. I usually rest on this day and get any errands done. I also like to reflect on how I did last week. These days are mostly laid back but I often plan out how to expand “One’s Own Will”.
Monday July 15, 2019
I got back on my gym grind. When I do kickboxing I feel reinvigorated. I think hitting and kicking the heavy bag is therapeutic for me. I always go all the way out in this class. I believe that is because my last big weight loss was from me attending kick boxing classes at my old UFC Gym.

Today was the day I turned 28. I did a lot of reflection today and I feel like I have to start to put the next big steps in my life into place, One’s Own Will being one of them. Putting 101 percent effort into every little thing I do will help me going forward. I plan on doing everything in my power to turn this into a major global brand.

I made a major move towards my big plans for this company. I signed up for a coding bootcamp program. I feel that learning the details of coding will allow myself to produce the best and most efficient content I can give to my audience. I will also be able to design this website in my own vision.

I went to back to the gym to today even though I was reluctant to go. I don’t know why but often times I felt the need to sit out today. I believe it’s because Monday was the only other day this week I worked out. Needless to say, going to the gym was the right decision. It felt tougher because I was not mentally into to it but I felt great that I was able to conquer this challenge for the day. It was bootcamp style, so a lot of cardio and strength training was done. My legs was sore after doing a lot of squats but I felt proud limping home.

Today was a day for rest from physically activity. Even though I did not work out, it does not mean other work should not be done. I ended up designing some products I will reveal soon. I am excited to begin the next phase of my business.

The weather today was too extreme. Staying inside my home was not an option. I decided go out today. I worked out with some of my bros and we did lifting. It was upper body work, so biceps, triceps and pecs. This was the first time I lifted in a long time and I could hardly move my arms afterwards. I think strength training is a necessary activity I need to add to my physical activity moving forward.

The weather was extremely hot today as well. I felt like I burned weight just sleeping in my room at night, which does not have air conditioning in it. I used today to reflect on how I should plan out next steps. I had a lot to think about. I am hopeful that I will be able to make the correct calculated decisions moving forward.

My body was still sore from the workout on Saturday so I decided to rest today. That doesn’t mean I didn’t do work. By doing work I don’t mean doing what I get paid to do at my job but rather the actions needed to take with One’s Own Will. It is always a grind and any day wasted is seen as a setback in my eyes.

Today I didn’t have time to go to the gym so I decided to walk around my office during lunch. If I can get more opportunities to leave my desk that would be great. I believe doing as much (even little) physical activity will help me in the future. I also believe it’s more of a symbolic meaning of not staying in the same space for too long. As you get too conformable, lazy and stagnant.

After I got out of the shower this morning I saw my pinky toe was bleeding. At first I thought it was an infection but after looking at it some more I realized it wasn’t. It was weird as I don’t remember stubbing my toe the day before. The only thing I could have thought of was when I went walking yesterday. My shoes are starting to get worn out so I believe that is what caused my toe to bleed. Why I didn’t recognize it the day before, beats me, lol.

This morning I watched a very inspirational video. It got my body flowing and I felt ready to take on the world. The main theme of this video was being the hero to your own story. You will have a lot of setbacks in life and it is up to you and only you to overcome those obstacles that stand in front of you. Winners continue to push forward and that is why they succeed.

I decided to spend today in the lab. I had so many ideas flowing through my head that I needed to just put them down so I can see them visually. To see your own work come to fruition is a beautiful feeling. It makes you want to work even more to your goals.

This morning I went to the park to play basketball. I felt like I haven’t done this in a year. It was so invigorating to play it again. At first I was rusty but I got back into the flow of my game again. I feel like I would want to start hooping every morning to start my day. Just to loosen up my body and get my blood flowing early in the morning. I don’t know how invested I am in this specific plan but we’ll see.
I know a long time ago I said I would share my diet but I had technical issues with displaying it on my blog. Well I don’t have that problem no longer.
