These past 2 weeks I have been pretty much going to the gym everyday. It got to the point where there times where I had to find every ounce of energy I had in my body to complete workouts. But I’m not complaining, I enjoy challenging myself everyday. I feel like I truly conquered the day after my workouts. I just want to get better at everything, from my form to my look.
So when I looked at the scale and saw I only lost 2 pounds, I started to believe that I am working with mostly muscle now because I felt lighter. At measurements, my arms and legs got bigger than before, I believe I am at the point where I will not put too much emphasis on what the scale says. Of course I will continue to weigh myself and make sure I don’t gain too much but, I think now I will place a bigger emphasis, on how many inches my biceps and quadriceps grew over how many pounds I lost.
I also believe I am about to be right around the sweet spot body wise for me. I believe the 170s is the right range my body should be at. I thought a month ago I should try to get in the 160s but now I would be worried that I would lose too much muscle I gained if I get to that range. That is the one true thing I love about fitness, there really isn’t a right or wrong answer numbers wise on where you want your body to be, everyone’s body is not the same so the numbers for me may not tell the same story if you had the same stats.
