The Bulkture: Look At All The Numbers

During these past 2 weeks I had a pretty bad diet. I mean I was eating candy and cereal like crazy. It was to the point I was binge eating, literally forcing food down my body even when I was full. I honestly do not know why I was doing that. Maybe, I was trying to feed all my cravings in one night, but that led to me wanting to eat more sugar.

I then tried to compensate by working out more and trying to burn as many calories as I can. I knew deep down it was not a sustainable plan. But hey, you live and you learn. From now on, I will be focused on sticking to a clean diet consistently and maybe try one cheat day every two weeks.

I knew I was not going to do well with my weigh in but I am starting to see a more defined look in my body. When I looked at the scale it showed I gained close to 5 pounds but when we me and my trainer did measurements I actually lost inches in my waist. Which means I gained muscle, which is one of the main goals. At that point I realized that I did not need to put so much emphasis on what the scale say and more so what the numbers say overall. I have to continue to remember that this is a marathon and not a race. I should not be discouraged what one weigh-in says over another.
